Why is it called “Rest For Your Soul Ministries?”
Jesus calls us to come to rest in Him. When Jesus was talking about rest, this was referring that we need to trust Him. However, rest is more than trusting in God. It can be difficult for us to trust in God, especially when we do not know what to expect.
What is the purpose of this site?
I (Timothy Rodgers) wanted to set up this website so people could learn how we can trust God. This site will do that and more. You will have access to a weekly devotion, sermon recordings, and has a page dedicated to those who are delivery drivers. As a Amazon Driver, I understand what it is like to deliver hundreds of packages in a single shift.
Who is Timothy Rodgers?
I am the Lead Pastor at Trinity Grace Christian Church and Second Presbyterian Church. In the past, I have served with several ministries such as: Fellowship of Christian Athletes, camp ministry, and I served as the Team Chaplain for the Chicago Bandits (Woman’s professional softball).
I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Communication with a Theology Minor from Trinity Christian College (2017) and a Masters Degree in Ministry and Leadership from Judson University (2023).
In 2022, I married Marjorie. In 2024 we welcomed our little girl was born, and we named her Hadassah.
