Psalm 23:6

               As we come to the final verse in Psalm 23, we see that David is writing how “goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.” When it comes to following God, our life changes. There is more to our lives than meets the eye. Our lives become more joyful and the desire to worship God increases. Because of that decision, the goodness and love from God is with us. With God as our Shepherd, we are given more than what we need!

               Finally, we see David saying, “I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” The word, “dwell” means to feel at home. So, we will feel at home in the house of the LORD. This is not just a place that we get to stay for a short time. Rather, it is a place we will feel at home. We will be there forever! Our Shepherd will keep us safe forever!
