Psalm 23:4
As we move through this chapter, we see that David describes a difficult situation. David says, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.” Now, when we see David talking about, “the shadow of death” it could be seen as figurative and literal. But in either case, David rejoices because God is always with him. Even in this difficult valley, God was with him.
This goes for us too. Even though we might go through difficult times, God is always with us. It does not matter what you go through: job loss, a break up, the death of a close friend or family member, or something else. God is always with you.
